Also, experts from the Executive Committee have begun to undertake free informal compliance advisory visits, at the request of other Member companies, to assist them in framing effective compliance procedures.
Feedback on the visits so far undertaken has been very positive, including, as one example:
"I think that these visits could be particularly beneficial to companies who have had a less than positive DTI compliance visit previously. In my view, it would also be of interest to companies who want a pre-compliance audit visit to see where there may be holes in their compliance procedures and also to companies who are new to exporting."
